Koi Fitness Music Concourse Morning Classes
6am and 7am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
We meet near the Japanese Tea Garden in the tour bus parking lot, behind the band shell of the Music Concourse. Members usually park along the intersection of MLK Drive and Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive. Some members walk or ride their bikes over, too.
Workouts take place throughout Golden Gate Park, including the Music Concourse, Stow Lake, Kezar Stadium, Big Rec baseball field, various playgrounds, and other locations.
Each class is divided into groups based on fitness level. The 6am class features a non-running group.
Here's what one of our members says about our morning class:
“I was out of shape and had stopped running. My son Dalan suggested that I join Koi Fitness, and I was reluctant. I was concerned about my fitness level and my age. I was assured by Stevan, the owner of Koi Fitness, that the program would work for me. I decided to try it for one session, and now I am in my second year. KOI is not a "one size fits all camp." There are four groups and excellent trainers for each one.
My fitness level has improved, and I am back into running--my first love. I am stronger, and my endurance has greatly improved.
The trainers at Koi Fitness are knowledgeable, professional and very easy to work with. The workouts can be challenging but fun. The support is amazing. I enjoy seeing my son Dalan in the mornings, and I’m so glad he persuaded me to try the program.
I encourage you to try Koi Fitness regardless of age or fitness level. Because of KOI, my fitness and endurance levels have improved tremendously, and I know that yours will, too.
