With an invaluable understanding of the human body and the psychology of health, exercise and commitment, Kelsey creates customized programs for her clients that are challenging, enjoyable, fun—and highly effective.

She enjoys continually introducing variety and change by incorporating her passion for numerous sports and activities, thus further motivating her clients, while keeping things fresh. 

Kelsey enjoys training with Koi because she loves training in Golden Gate Park and, in fact, promises that the park’s beautiful views and crisp fresh air will have you starting, or ending, your day on the right foot. She also thrives on the energy and camaraderie of the group trainings.


An avid lover of the outdoors, Kelsey enjoys camping, sailing, hiking, backpacking and snow skiing. She is also a runner, having completed several half marathons and multiple sprint distance triathlons. She has always lived a very active lifestyle and it was her playing soccer and dancing competitively in school that taught her the importance of dedication, teamwork and leadership. It was in college that she became a long distance runner and cyclist – and discovered weight training.

I am inspired everyday by the dedication and determination of my clients, especially when I see that amazing look of personal accomplishment on their face. They encourage me to continually strive to be better.


Kelsey has an undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara in Business Economics and Accounting and a minor in Exercise and Health Science. It was after an 8-year career in Accounting that she decided to change course and pursue her true passion for health and fitness. She is currently completing her Master’s in Kinesiology.
